Week 7 Senior Project

Nice almost near the end of part A.  Well this week was short in way i pretty much have a stable version of both of my mazes and matching game almost done.  For red blood cell maze there still some problems but not that much that can be worked on during break.  The same can be said for blood flow maze to.  Matching game just needs to have some code add to it.  Then there art assets to that need to be add to them.  But for Alpha this will work nicely for time being

Week 6 Senior Project

I am sorry that i am day late.  Been feeling under the weather.  Back to what i done for week,  a lot more editing more pictures but i learned a lot of adobe after effects.  After effects helped a lot on making pictures much more clean looking.  But there still plenty of work to do on that.  But on the matching game i found some code that actually works for making movable icons that return to there start position.  Also to i got the 2nd maze much clean up and image to over lap properly.  Well all that left know is just to clean up some stuff and paper work.  Till next week

Week 5 Senior Project

Yeah i am on time for this post.  Well for this week i spent a good amount of time again scanning in new art.  Then again cleaning them up.  Also to i learned how to use Abode photo shop how to make multi layers and use one of the layers as boundary for my walls for my maze or mazes.  Then i had to add some code to them in order to contain the ball or what to be the blood cell.  Then i had to add code to blood cell to make it move up and down and left to right.  I have that on both of my maze's. I am closing in on finish up one maze and to have other one done during week 6.  So that should leave me with just matching game and some art work to do.  Also to i have provide more art work to.  But everything coming a long at a good pace.  Also to i will put up some screen shots soon

Week 4 Senior Project

Well i have everything imported right.  This time  i am on time for this blog post.  Over the week and the weekend i had to rescale the scan images for the project.  They where way to big for what we need and i had combination of ms paint,  Microsoft word and adobe photo shop to get them down to scale.  Also to i learned how to do a lot of touch up work in photo shop.  Next i over lay-ed the images to make sure they would look right. Then more rescaling and touch up work.  So i spent a good amount of time working on those.  Also to i made some sticky notes telling me what i need to do for each maze.  I think i am doing good and i should be able to have a good start on the 2 mazes.  The matching one should be a lot easier to do and i just need to scan some more stuff for it.  Also to i want to start working on the HUD/Score keeping part to this up coming week 

Week 3 Senior Project

Sorry for about being 4 to 5 late on this on. Over the week i worked on setting up the 3 games i need to work on for this project.  The biggest problem i am going to run into, that i am not good of programmer and i never really programmed in java before.  So i set up the background and layers for each one of these games. These games are supposed to be a matching game and 2 maze games.  Also to made the screen rez  normal setting and frame where at 24.  On Tuesday i scanned in pictures to be used for the mazes and the matching game.  That same day had to change the frames to 30 and rez to 800 by 600.  Also to did a lot of catch up work.

Week 2 Senior Project

First hand i am sorry i am day late on the post.  But last week i spent some time finishing up my part of the game design doc.  Also to started getting ideas and feed back for mazes and games for little kids.  What i also notice is the amount of time should be allowed to play the mini games.  In what i am impelling is should person playing the game be able to go on to the next part of the game if there not able to finish.  That a good question to ask my group.  Also to i spent a good amount of time again looking over action script 2 information on the web.

Week 1 Senior Project

This looks like going to be a lot of fun.  First hand i never had a chance till know doing a all flash game.  From my Midterm Project to this i want to try more with flash and Abode.  Also to the concept for education purpose to that also great so it means making a visual novel in away and teaching within it.  The concept doc is all done and my flash is up to date so know do some research and time sheet.  Also to the group i am with is going to be great to work with.
